One of the most vulnerable moments in a family’s life is when they are mourning a loss. In that tender time, families need an officiant that can craft a service that honors the deceased with kindness and appreciation for their full humanity.

As a pastor for the last 15 years, Amy has officiated many funerals. Among them have been the most tragic–including a suicide and infant death. Amy specializes in taking space in these services to speak into the chasm of grief at these unexpected losses, and hold the community in love and care. A funeral, no matter the kind of death, is a tender time, and all who attend deserve to be cared for in these kinds of rituals.

Amy is an ordained minister in the Mennonite Church USA, and currently supervises pastors and congregations across Pennsylvania. Before becoming a pastor, Amy was a social worker for 13 years.
